It requires a certain amount of recoil to function consistently. Inertia guns tend to recoil more and have less flexibility in the shells that will operate it properly. Personally I would pick the Beretta hands down. They are $300 cheaper (with KO) and about $600 cheaper if you get the Beretta without the Kickoff.
