Back up the C:\Program Files\GShade\gshade-shaders and game\gshade-presets folder. This contains GShade's shaders and presets, obviously.

They are not related to each other. I fixed this problem by randomly instaling Gshade to several .exe from boot and game folder. I have the same issue. It only works on the regular launcher. No clue why. GShade only works for me when I use normal Launcher. When I use XIV Launcher Gshade menu does not work.
