Shige's Saimin Stand offers simple food but does it really REALLY well. Although it sounds a little odd, a cheeseburger is what most people get with their saimin. It's because they're just so good. The saimin is nice and light, while the cheeseburgers are a little greasy. I changed things up a bit and tried a tuna melt this time too.

This is one of the best Hawaiian local food I've had! We ordered wonton mein (saimin) with vegetable added, toss salad (regular salad), mac salad (typical macaroni salad), bbq cheese burger (homemade) double (double patty) deluxe (vegetable added) version. The restaurant makes their own noodles/saimin (egg noodles) and burger.
