The best way I got the memento for my friend was to look at the map and see which area loot drops backpacks. Then put a couple of directives on and farm like crazy in that area. I actually got two memento drops in the same evening using this technique! I did it mainly with countdown (challenging) targeted loot backpack. You will see a lot of acostas bullsh*t backpacks. Every 2 matches you have enough countdown points to buy a exotic cache. For variety, Summit with friends farming floor 10 is also a good option.
